Low temperature drying paint of high hydroxy polyurethane
Low temperature drying paint of high hydroxy polyurethane
This two-component low-temperature high-hydroxyl water-based paint exhibits excellent adhesion on plastic substrates including ABS, PC, PA, PC+ABS, and ABS+glass fiber. During assembly line production, light industrial products require 65°C curing for 30 minutes, followed by 2-4 hours of baking and cooling before proceeding to subsequent processes or packaging. The selection of compatible curing agents significantly impacts activation time and hardness attainment. Under ambient conditions, self-curing is influenced by temperature and humidity variations. When air humidity ≤ 70%, the paint typically takes 40-60 minutes to dry by touch and ≥ 24 hours to achieve full hardening. The complete self-curing timeline depends on product specifications and environmental conditions. Key advantages: Non-abrasive surface, high gloss/fullness, superior chemical resistance, excellent recoatability, high hardness, superior scratch resistance, and enhanced outdoor performance.
